Welcome to our store, Reformed Wood!

We stared this business in September 2012.  I had enjoyed building things for myself. Looking online I saw many shops with similar things.  I shared these shops with a friend of mine. He told me I should open my own shop.  In fact, he challenged me to have a shop on Etsy up and running by Labor Day of that year.  This was in July.

We didn't make Labor Day because we had received our first order for a local restaurant in our town.  We made them 20 reclaimed wood table top organizers.  And that was our start!

Once we got our Etsy shop open, we were off and running.  We've sold almost 9,000 things!

Several of the items featured in our catalog came from customer's special requests.  Our popular shoe stand came from an early repeat customer.  We had made him a side table from barn wood with hairpin legs.  Next he wanted a custom music stand from barn wood. And then he asked if we could help him organize his shoes!  Since that first shoe stand, we have sold thousands of shoe stands in varying size and with different accessories.

So we love custom requests!  If you need something and we don't have it listed, ask us and we will see what we can do!
